Travel within London
Visitors to London can buy an Oyster card which will allow travel on all underground and bus services as well as most overground train services within London (please check with TFL if you want to use an Oyster card on overground services, especially if going to stations further away from central London). The advantage of an Oyster card is that the price you pay for travel has a daily cap, which means that no matter how much you travel in one day, you will not pay more than the current cap. Oyster cards are widely available across London in most newsagents and travel shops.
